Ardgillan Community College

In October 2014 the doors of a large new build secondary school in Balbriggan opened to students and staff, constructed to accommodate a growing student population. The new eighty eight classroom secondary school consists of a three storey teaching block, GP hall, special needs unit and a two storey sports hall. The new school represents a substantial improvement on the old prefab structures that the students had grown accustomed, promoting a more comfortable environment by providing facilities for specialist subjects including four new science rooms and two new computer labs.

Electrical services rendered by CTS Group included security features such as Intruder alarms, access control systems, monitored CCTV and a fire alarm. Additional provisions to the school included audio/visual wiring to each classroom, PA systems, Cat 6A data wiring, dimmable lighting and external floodlighting to a new all-weather playing pitch.
