Lidl Gorey

CTS Group were recently contracted by Lidl Ireland to develop a new store in Gorey, Wexford due to their previous experience and working relationship with Lidl stores nationwide. This fit-out was the first of Lidl's new concept stores which are being set up throughout Ireland. It was done within 8 weeks and features high efficiency materials, which improves Lidl’s carbon footprint. The development of this new Lidl branch is hoped to create a comfortable shopping experience for residents and visitors to Gorey.

Electrical services provided by CTS Group were general and display LED lighting throughout the store. This new lighting coincides with Lidl's new concept stores, as they are run by automatic daylight harvesting lighting, which improves energy efficiency. External lighting was fitted in the carpark along with the updating of CCTV to CAT7 both internally and externally. Data wiring was also installed to the store for tills.

Mechanical provisions included appliances such as air handling units, water boilers, water pumps, high efficiency electric water heaters, gas detection and radiators. Lidl Gorey was also fitted with new sanitary ware, air conditioning and ventilation. This ventilation system was installed to accommodate areas throughout the store such as office, bakery and toilet areas.
