Portlaw Church Complete

CTS Group have successfully completed an electrical retrofit to Portlaw Church, Co. Waterford. This project had to be installed without taking the character from the church. The brief on the project was to modernise the electrical services and install new lighting, Emergency lighting and a fire alarm to the existing church while not disturbing the operation of the church which continued to be used on a weekly basis during construction. The client in particular wanted to light up the timber ceiling which dated back to the 1800's. This project involved specialist Dali dimmable LED lighting, this lighting system has many different scene settings, each scene creates bespoke ambienece. We also installed a new electrical PA speaker system, addressable fire alarm system, and new general services. This conservation project was undertaken with dilligence and care in mind within keeping of the principles of conservation.
