Malahide Castle Visitors Centre & Gardens

Located in the old courtyard of Malahide Castle the new visitor centre required a full mechanical and electrical fit-out. The new building, being part visitor centre and part museum, required specialist lighting for exhibitions, along with data and audio-visual wiring. Security provisions included the installation of an intruder alarm, a fire alarm, as well as CCTV and access control systems.

Mechanical services for the centre included the installation of gas boilers, ventilation ducting and an underfloor heating system. An energy-efficient, Combined Heat and Power system and a rain water harvesting system completed the mechanical requirements of the centre.
