CTS Group completed electrical and mechanical installations for Nally and Casey's Supervalu Kilcock, Kildare. These high end provisions were installed within 8 weeks to a high standard, which is expected by Supervalu.
Electrical features on the project included general and specialist display lighting for areas such as a delicatessen and off-license section. This also included external lighting for customer access. Data wiring was fitted for tills within the shop and various alarm systems were wired for security and health and safety. These were fire alarms, intruder alarms and access control to the store. Sockets were also fitted to accommodate these provisions.
Mechanical fittings put in place throughout the store included gas fired LPWH and a heat recovery system, which takes excess heat from the shop and heats their water storage cylinder. This drastically increases Supervalu’s carbon footprint and creates a much more energy efficient method of providing hot water throughout the store. Ventilation was also installed for food preparation areas, sanitary areas and office areas. Water services such as pumps and tanks were then fitted for Supervalu, which were supplied to sanitary areas with sinks and toilets.
