DCU NRF Building Contract Awarded

CTS Group have been awarded a contract to perform the Mechanical and Electrical fit out works of the new 3-D printing suite in the NRF Building on the DCU campus, Glasnevin, Dublin.

The NRF (Nano Research Facility) is a purpose built 3000m² state-of-the-art facility comprising of custom-designed laboratories, a range of specialist support units and equipment. The facility carries out research activities in Science and Engineering, both within and external to DCU.

Electrical provisions set for completion in the NRF Building are laboratory specification lighting and emergency lighting. Door access control, Cat 6a data wiring and a comprehensive BMS are also set to be installed in this fit-out. Safety precautions will be satisfied with gas detection systems and fire alarms.

Mechanical installations will feature pipework services and the installation of general ventilation and fume hood.
