Contract Awarded for M&E Extension and Revamp of Morris’s DIY

CTS Group have been awarded a contract to perform an M&E extension and revamp of the existing Morris's DIY in Waterford. Morris's DIY have been supplying DIY equipment in Waterford since 1983 before moving to their present location on Manor Street in 1985. Their product range includes gardening, paint and decorating, kitchens, and bathroom. Works are set to progress on this in early November. 

Electrical provisions set for completion in Morris's DIY are internal lighting and emergency lighting, along with external lighting columns for a car park. Sockets and data wiring are also set to be installed in this fit-out. 

Mechanical fittings will feature water provisions such as water tanks, gas fired heaters, and pumps. Air conditioning units and extract fans are also set for installation. Security measures for Morris's DIY will include a fire alarm, intruder alarm and CCTV.
